Last week at Santa Anita Park (May 12-15)

From a riders standpoint, the week belonged to Rafael Bejarano, Edwin Maldonado, and Flavien Prat, and Santiago Gonzalez is getting his groove back. 

Thursday Santa Anita Park Recap: May 12
Fast main track and firm turf course. Two wire-to-wire winners on dirt (4.5f, 6f). The winning turf running styles were a flat mile closer and two downhill stalkers (rail at 10 feet).
Two wins for Flavien Prat.
Friday Santa Anita Park Recap: May 13
Fast main track and firm turf course. Two wire-to-wire winners on dirt (4.5f, 5.5f). The winning turf running styles were a flat mile stalker, another flat mile stalker, a downhill stalker, and a downhill closer (rail at 30 feet).
Two wins for Rafael Bejarano and Edwin Maldonado.
Saturday Santa Anita Park Recap: May 14 
Fast main track and firm turf course. Two wire-to-wire winners on dirt (9f, 7f). The winning turf running styles were a downhill stalker, a flat mile stalker, and a flat mile closer.
Two wins for Edwin Maldonado and Flavien PratPhil D’Amato saddled two winners.
Sunday Santa Anita Park Recap: May 15
Fast main track and firm turf course. Three wire-to-wire winners at seven panels on dirt. The winning turf running styles were a downhill dueler, a front runner at 9f, and a flat mile stalker (rail at 10 feet).
Two wins for Rafael Bejarano and Santiago Gonzalez (one via DQ).
